How to Pack Your S&S Coupled Bike into a Standard S&S Hard Case.

There are lots of ways to pack S&S bikes, but here’s just one example of how to pack an Alex Meade custom bike.

Step 1 is to uncouple the frame and cover the tubes to protect the finish. Package all the small parts.

Front half of frame goes in first, along with small parts.

Deflate the tire, and the rear wheel goes in next.

Next the bars . . .

. . . then the back half of the frame. Depending on frame size, it might be necessary to remove one crank arm.

Fenders and fork are nestled in.

Front wheel goes in last.
